What this site is

Product information. We keep it accurate and we check our claims against what the software actually does before publishing them, but nothing here is a warranty, a specification, or an offer capable of acceptance. Features described may change, and some are described because they are built, not because they are contractually promised to you.

What is not promised here

• No guarantee that the site is available, error-free or up to date at any moment
• No professional, legal, security or compliance advice
• No commitment that any described capability will appear in a particular edition or release
• Nothing on this site weakens or overrides the integrity statement in our trust model: verification proves record integrity and order, and is not a warranty of legal admissibility

Using the site

• Read it, quote it with attribution, and link to it freely
• Do not attempt to disrupt it, probe it for vulnerabilities without asking us first, or misuse the contact address to send bulk mail
• The enTrail name, marks, copy and design are ours; the underlying cryptographic standards are not, and our specification and test vectors are published deliberately

If you think you have found a flaw in the site or in anything we publish, we would rather hear it than not. Email info@entrail.io. Tell us what you found before you tell anyone else, and give us a reasonable chance to fix it.

The product agreements

Running enTrail is governed by its own documents: terms of service for hosted Evidence Boxes, an end-user licence for the self-managed appliance, trial terms where a trial applies, and a data processing addendum for hosted deployments. They are provided with an order or a pilot, and they are the documents that bind. Where this website and a signed agreement disagree, the agreement wins.
